Over the past few years, my life has changed dramatically. It went from mediocre to a true pursuit of my dreams, with the knowledge that nothing – absolutely nothing – is impossible. And all this has happened in only six months. Six months from “I can’t wait till it’s finally weekend.” to “What’s the next thing I want to do – and how am I going to make it happen” brainstorms early in the morning.
I am writing this blog as much for myself as for everyone else. But most of all, I write it for my 10-year old self, who I wish had heard all this a lot sooner. Before he got dragged into the get-a-safe-job-work-hard-and-don’t-demand too-much-from-life-so-you-don’t-get-dissapointed lifestyle that seems to be what life is all about for most of us. I want to write down the things I do now to achieve my dreams, and how my thinking has changed – the tools that I discovered and the mindset I developed.
Before, I couldn’t wait for the workday to end. An event only plused by the end of the workweek (which often enough only happened on a sunday afternoon). Now, I can’t wait to get out of bed to work on the amazing projects I have lined up, bring into action a new passion that I have discovered, or plan an adventure.
In a way, my thinking went from “I can’t.” to “I wish I could”, to “How do I make it happen?” to now: where I am actually trying to find something that I can’t do.
This blog will tell the story, and where it goes from here.
